As a therapist for over 10 years, Liz has guided many adults and couples to a better, more harmonious life.

Liz considers it a privilege to help people navigate through difficult times by listening, discussing, and implementing proven, research-based therapeutic treatment. She provides an environment where individuals, couples, and families can safely express their hurts, difficulties, and anxieties as well as their needs, desires, and goals.

Liz holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, a Master’s in Business, and a Finance degree. Her educational background, business knowledge, and personal experience raising a family all contribute to her well-rounded and thoughtful approach to psychotherapy. She works closely with both individuals and couples, offering professional support during significant or difficult life transitions and periods of emotional, financial, and familial/marital distress. Her specialties include couples counseling, the grief and transition of divorce, anxiety disorders and depression, trauma, and personality disorders.

She has worked extensively with couples and is trained in the Gottman Method, Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples, and Couples Communication for premarital and marital counseling. She is certified in EMDR for trauma, which she uses in conjunction with many other treatment modalities. Additionally she is trained in CBT and Mindfulness Therapies. Liz is licensed in the state of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor.
