Julie Rittel - Marriage Counseling in Jupiter
Julie is passionate about helping others grow and make changes for a healthy and happy life. She is highly-trained in some of the most advanced therapies for individuals and couples, including Gottman Level 1, 2 & 3, Advanced EFT and Marriage Helper.
Through a collaborative and non-judgmental approach, she creates a safe space where clients can explore and navigate their emotional and relational challenges. Regardless of the issues you might be facing, Julie is well-equipped with a high level of training and expertise to help you achieve your counseling goals. She is very personable, engaging and relatable, making people feel relaxed and comfortable, right away.
For couples, Julie is trained in Gottman Level 1, Level 2 and level 3. This approach teaches skills for better communication and conflict resolution, with an emphasis on connection. Beyond Gottman, Julie is trained in advanced EFT, Emotionally-Focused Therapy. This approach digs deeper, getting to the underlying root of the problem and relationship pattern. With these new insights, couples are guided out of damaging dynamics and grow in their mutual respect, understanding and love for one another.
Drawing from her engineering and corporate background, she offers a professional perspective that emphasizes efficiency and effectiveness rooted in clear communication and problem solving. This allows her to help clients identify underlying patterns and develop practical strategies for addressing concerns.
As a mother of four and a wife of over 25 years, Julie brings a wealth of personal experience and empathy to her clients. She understands firsthand the complexities and joys of family life and is deeply attuned to the unique challenges that individuals and couples may encounter. These experiences enrich her perspectives and inform her interactions with clients from all ages and backgrounds.
Prior to her pursuits in the field of psychology, Julie obtained her BS degree in engineering from Purdue University, and continued her graduate studies at Stanford University. Currently, she is completing her MS degree from National University in Marriage and Family Therapy.
